| Ron Stille was my sixth grade crush at Buder School. I moved away after that year, after living on Baltimore for all my elementary school days. I'm sure my dad took us to Chuck-A-Burger sometime, like we hit the drive-in with the majorette sign that was still there last time I was on the Rock Road on my way home from Lambert.
I moved back to the area (Illinois side)during late high school and college, then left again for 15 years. Been back 10 years now, recently contacted another Buder friend & Ritenour grad, Cindy D. We both divorced this year, which made me wonder what happened to all the old friends from grade school days, including Ron.
I see from the website photos how Chuck-A-Burger has remained a big part of his life. I've heard about the car cruises here & there from people who came from Illinois to attend them. I just started hitting the clubs where the imperial dancers go and one is very near to CAB. It's time for me to experience the great food and nostalgia for myself and hope to do it soon! Wonder if Ron & I would recognize each other!
